In 1891 Sir Hugh Munro published a list of Scottish Mountains over 3,000 ft in height. These have now come to be known as 'Munros' and many mountaineers spend their weekends and holidays ticking off the mountains on this list.

We are fortunate in being situated directly below An Teallach, arguably the finest mainland ridge walk in Britain (2 Munros), 15 minutes drive from the Fannichs (9 Munros) and 25 minutes from the Beinn Deargs (5 Munros).

Our area also includes the magnificent 'Fisherfield Forest' with a further 6 Munros to knock off your list.

Guided walks, Scrambling, Navigation, & Climbing tuition can be arranged through Go Further

An Teallach in Winter

Many of the local crags have been developed and there is a vast range of rock climbing from 'diff' to 'E6', not to mention the climbing wall in Ullapool for those occasional wet days !!!

However, the area is more than just Munros and rock climbs, there are stupendous beaches, waterfalls, glens, coastal walks - the list is endless.
